Used 2002 Audi A6 Sedan Consumer Reviews
Best Value in Market
I bought a loaded 3.0 CVT after shopping against the BMW 530i. With the same identical options, the Audi was $12,000 cheaper out the door while having more interior and cargo room than the BMW. Quality and reliability has been first rate. The CVT is a breakthrough technology for this size of car. The interior is the best in the industry. The A6 is simply the best value buy in the luxury car segment.
2002 A6 2.7 T
My second Audi. Love it in the snowy Northeast Winters. Handles great, with superior pickup in all conditions. Fun, while safe, to drive.

Extremely Poor Quality and Service
My car has only 14,800 miles and has been in for repairs 4 times due to a variety of reasons- catl conv (twice), ignition coils, and stereo system going out completely. Unfortunately, the service departments and Audi policies are NOT what you would expect of a luxury car dealer. Our other family car is a Lexus (similar class, type) and we have received excellent service from the service dept, always gotten a Lexus loaner, and never been brought in for repairs. I bought an Audi expecting a high level of quality and service and unfortunately have not come close to my expectations.
Good but not exactly solid
Ok, I love my car... but is possible that the interior parts are so fragile? This is not what i would expect from a car at this pricepoint: The cigarette lighter doesn't work anymore, the buttons on the climate control and the wheel on the light panel has lost the paint after a little bit of use, and the worst is the cup holders - broken them twice simply using them with soda cans! The last thing broken is the central unit (the one that is between the driver seat and the passenger seat), since the cover on the top is broken, so I can't open and close, not even replace since I should replace the entire central unit.
Why buy Mercedes?
This car is great!! Leased this car . Black on black sport, premium, luxury, convience pkgs. For 46,800 you get the same space, performance, build quality, trim etc., as the mercedes E430 4matic for 15,000 less! Acceleration is strong with minimal turbo lag. Exterior design is aging, but very gracefully. The best bang for your buck midsize luxury car in my opinion. I am very pleased with this car. The salesman was also first rate, straightforward and no B.S. Very customer orientated.
