Used 2002 Audi A4 Sedan Consumer Reviews
Watch out!
This car is fun to drive, espically with the CVT. Seating takes some getting used to. The climate control system IS A FAILURE. When cold outside it is hot inside. When the temperature setting is 64 deg.F the cabin stays at 74. This is the LOWEST temperature available. Audi service has tried to fix it at least 5 times and finally concluded that it is "Operating within specification" since ALL of the cars do the same thing. All of them are wrong according to the mechanic. Also experienced many other failures that have been fixed.
Audi Excellent
Excellent car If this continues I will be an Audi Driver for life.

So far so Good
My A4 is a 2003 Model, Denim Blue. In this color, the car is truly one of a kind. I have yet to see another one on the crowded Long Island streets. And at $26,000 no other car came close in features (leather, 17" wheels, 6-CD in dash, auto climate etc), style, and handling. 30 more horses would be nice, but the 5-speed helps overcome this. I'm only 2000 miles in, so hopefully the reliability is as good as my 99 Passat, which was trouble free for 60,000 miles.
My Audi 1.8T
All in all, the car has lived up to its ratings by the automotive press. Acceleration from a standstill is not the greatest, until the turbocharger kicks in... then it feels a lot stronger and reacts. The sport suspension handles very well, but the agressive tires are fairly noisy, especially at highway speeds. The center console does restrict leg movement and can be a little uncomfortable for a taller driver. The seating is firm and may be considered stiff by some.
My A4
Wonderful little car. Solid, reliable, and great value.
