Used 2018 Acura TLX A-Spec 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 9A) Consumer Reviews
Perfect combo of style, performance, and comfort
I think Acura hit the sweet spot with this TLX model. The A-Spec package in still night pearl blue is a real looker. Very fun to drive, with acceleration and performance enough to satisfy all but the most critical performance geeks. Really impressed with how well this car does on snowy/icy roads as well. Feels really solid.

Ancient One
If you are an Acura fan, and looking for a great sporty sedan with power and performance, the A-Spec TLX is a great car. It comes either front wheel or AWD. The A-Spec is pricey for a TLX, however it has great value. It has a 290hp 3.5 Liter VTEC6-cylinder engine, which is the same engine in the MDX. It has 4 drive modes Econ, Normal, Sport, and Sport+. You’re burning rubber in Sport+. There is a 12-way driver’s seat and a long list of safety features. It’s a beautiful automobile inside and out that turns heads. With 23 mpg combined city/highway, it’s not very good on gas. But, driving in Econ mode helps.

Little bit of a let down
Had a 2016 touring accord coupe. My Accord rides better. My hood on my TLX flexing on the freeway. I live in Montana and the speed limit is 80. When I drive it the steering vibration and the front hood flexing and fluttering. Iv got to call Acura. Can't deal with this. Its got 2500 on it now. Closest dealer is 400 miles from Bozeman Montana.

My favorite car out of 13 that i've owned!
Get the A-Spec! I've owned 13 cars in my life, I'm a car enthusiast and a Realtor, so I was looking for something thats fun to drive at all speeds, economical (as much as possible) respectable and presentable to all of my clients without being too flashy. At first, I wasn't too excited but the dealership gave me a great deal. Now, I go to bed thinking about waking up and starting it, and love driving it all day. The handling is great, the turn-in angle and steering feel is really impressive for the size and the fact that it's an Acura. This car has everything that I was planning on doing to my 2004 IS300. It has an impressive sound system, blown insulation in the interior so sound quality inside is fantastic. The A-Spec styling is perfect. It's nice, quiet and sturdy when cruising around. And it has a growl when you punch it that never get's old. It's fast enough for my needs, I haven't lost a stoplight race or entry to the onramp yet. (In my 2015 Genesis 3.8 Sedan I was used to ties with common cars like the Sonata). Of course, I doubt it can beat cars like the R/T trim level Dodge, but I enjoy cars that I can wrap out vs overpowered under-styled cars that will rarely be maxed. The rear seat is big enough for me to fit, I'm 5"11, if I were one inch taller my head would hit the window. The only complaint so far is that the transmission cant make up its mind around 40mph with steady throttle. and it sometimes vibrates around that speed. In summary, great car, good gas mileage while being sporty. Fun to drive slow and fast, corners surprisingly well. Sturdy and good feel. Very good looking car. Every-time I drive it, I like it more and more. Also, my girlfriend was nervous that I'd get a lot of attention driving it because, in her words, it makes me more attractive. That's a first.

She mine.....
Love this vehicle. And for the price it makes me even more happy to have a luxury performance vehicle that has the Honda quality. And, not cost me my first born to get repairs if ever needed (which is unlikely).
