Best SUV for the money
This vehicle does anything right. Great styling and room. Awesome SH-AWD is remarkable. Panoramic sunroof, 10 speed turbo, all safety features standard on basic model--can't go wrong on this vehicle in any trim.

Bench mark of practical luxury.
2019 RDX Tech. Pkg. / FWD. This is the SUV to beat. The RDX's report card is all A's. Everything works. The ride quality is superb, the interior room is plenty for all passengers, the drive modes are really tuned to feel different levels of driving enjoyment, The head lights are especially spectacular; you will find yourself looking for dark roads to enjoy the powerful illumination, the sound system is a daily symphony - WOW, and the V-Tec engine is a hotrod. The truth is this engine is only about 2 tenth of a second off from an Audi Q5. Plus, it decimates Volvo, Cadillac, and Infinity. The V-tec goes from proper to insane with the turn of the mode dial. The power band on this SUV will raise your blood pressure and place a ear to ear smile on your face. Do not under estimate the RDX, its is the new bench mark of Practical Luxury. Update July 2022 More than 3 years with the RDX no issue, just a minor recall to replace the info. Screen connector. The brakes still have plenty of grip, no issues. The only pocket spending I have done is oil changes and I replace all 4 original tires (at 45,000 miles). The interior is still brand new and the engine is still superb. RDX is the perfect SUV.

Excellent Vehicle, Not Perfect.
We really like our new SH-AWD RDX with the Advance package, the front seats are the most comfortable we have tried. We traded out of a 2019 CRV, and have not looked back... well not much. We had the a few days and my wife told me there was no remote start. Apparently Acura wants you to use their phone app at a cost of monthly service. After spending close to 50K for the car, shelling out 640.00 for an option that almost every other car in the US has was a little hard to swallow. Last week we wanted to put some presents in the back and realized there is no rear cargo cover. Yep, add on another 175.00. It had never crossed my mind that it would not be there on the advance package. My last RDX and my last two Honda's have had them. This a very nice car, with absolutely gorgeous interior, the sun roof is awesome. To sum up my wife's feelings, " I really wanted to Love this car. The silly things you have to buy after make me wish we had just bought another Honda"

Not for Snow
If you live in an area that gets snow, do not buy this vehicle. All the sensors are behind the big Acura logo on the front of the RDX. When it gets snow on it, all the driving systems shut down - Cruise control, lane keep assist and most importantly VSA - Traction control. After talking to Honda/Acura, this is how the RDX is designed! Simply, it handles horribly in the snow and on slushy roads. If you don't believe me, ask before you buy.
Acura RDX
We recently purchased a 2020 Acura RDX. We immediately discovered that when the rear hatch is opening, it makes a loud popping noise. The dealership has had the car in for repair for one month, and they can’t solve the problem. Supposedly they brought in consultants and claim it is a manufacturing problem and can’t be fixed. Now they want to return the vehicle to us, as is. It’s only been driven twice! We will never purchase another Acura again!
