Good, but could be better

2007 Toyota Camry Sedan LE 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A)

Review

All around this car is amazing, its sleek exterior and futuristic interior is sure to turn some heads. The only problem with the four cylinder is the power, its not quite as quick as the 06 and could use a little more get up and plus people think that it sounds like a diesel volkswagen when it is sitting in idle in the parking lot.

Good But.......

I think Camry has come a long way and made a outstanding, solid and remarkable car but sometimes, even the best of minds miss the simple things the customers are looking for. Where did the sun visor extension disappear Toyota? I feel there's a little more road noise then the previous Camrys. Overall, it's a great car but don't take away what customers really want. Why can't Toyota can give standard Stablity and Traction Control?

Extremely comfortable with 3 separate power driver seat adjustments. Well designed cargo space with convenient cup holders and lots of storage. Good sound system. Handles well at all normal driving speeds. Roomy both front and rear seats.

Why Buy a Lexus?

When you can own this snappy automobile. We shopped for an Avalon, saw this 2007 Camry version, and jumped at it. It looks good, feels good, and has enough bells and whistles to keep you occupied for several hours perusing the owner's manual. Haven't a good reading on mileage yet, since just zipping around town for now. This car is powerful, responsive, and an attention-getter.

This is our fourth new Camry. Previously we a 1992, 1997 and 2002. As usual, our Camry has a solid finish, is very quiet, has a powerful engine and a very nice interior.

I love my car. My only comment is that it is a bit noisier than I expected (road noise, wind noise, engine noise). Otherwise, it drives beautifully and looks great, too!

I'd rather have my Buick back

2007 Toyota Camry Sedan LE 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A)

Review

This Camry supposedly has a drive by wire accelerator which is supposedly a better system. This car stumbles around corners and when trying to accelerate, the transmission down shifts sometimes resulting in lurches and unwanted high speed. The driving experience in town is very poor. Highway driving is little better as the car seems to lose power at higher cruise speeds.

2007 Toyota Camry Sedan CE 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A)

Review

We bought the 2007 Camry CE after trying the Honda Accord LE, CRV, Toyota RAV4, Matrix, Prius, Subaru Forester, and Legacy. Hands-down, the Camry was the quietest, most comfortable car; although the Prius was cool, but overpriced. Auto transmission is smooth, 4 cyl. engine is strong enough for everyday driving, handling is crisp with a good feel for the road, fuel economy is great. Many safety features are standard this year. We have only put about 200 miles on it so far, but we like it! I would definitely test drive one if you are shopping for a mid- size sedan. We even started out looking at small SUVs and found this gem. :-)

Just drove 1600 miles from New York State to North Carolina and back. Averaged 32 mpg for the trip. Powerful engine just ate up the hills of West Virginia & Virginia. I'm 6 ft 3 and fit comfortably in the car. Great car so far. Hope it proves to be as reliable as other Camrys.

Wow. This car is wonderful. I cannot believe what they have done to 2007 Camry. The new look has gotten rid of the family "Grandma" look. It's fun to drive and I feel safe driving it. If you have not driven one yet.....it' time you do!
