The first quote turned out to be a bogus. Just to get me to their shop. That is Stevens Creek Honda, Sanjose. Tommy Carter quoted that bogus price, and his colleague TP Singh (Internet manager) straight away refused to honor the quote, stating it was a mistake. Where as I had reconfirmed through reply emails, the previous day, that the price was for 2011 model. Liars !! I walked out in 4 minutes !! Now watching this board, before I get to another vendor !!

While the Prius is not part of this recall a previous recall was laid at the feet of an interfering floor map. Those of us who own a Prius have some doubts that this is true. There have been occasional reports of the Prius accelerator not working correctly and at least one small company has been fixing the accelerator assembly. There bay be an issue with the sensor used in the assembly. Does anybody know if the recalled models use a similar fly-by-wire approach to accelerator control?

you can trust me the sedan TDI is fine on a long trip, such as about 10 BostonOrlando local drives, as well as a Boston SanJose commute. the satellite radio is crucial too!

I live in SanJose, CA, and looking for the best possible deal on a new Mini/S-model. Did anyone purchase a Mini in the BayArea/CA (or Northern CA like between BayArea and Sacramento), and was able to get a price below MSRP or some throw-in goodies (parts, service, etc.) ? please share on how to get the most for the money we pay for a Mini, and any dealer recommendation. My second question: Did the price of the new Mini go up year-by-year at all and about how much it went up ? Thanks in advance for all the info.
