Overall awesome vehicle with solid
build! Nice upgrade to exterior for

truck.

Sports package - awesome sports seats and handling

More responsive tranny. More power! Adaptive xenon,

Review

Great performance and handling; very practical. Good to go out to dinner or to Home Depot; super sound system; simple, stylish interior; only inconvenience is that front seat window controls are in a less convenient location under the door handle.

Best Features

Handling.

Worst Features

Move the front door handles.

Review

This is the car that you find a reason
to drive it. Great looks and plenty of
comfort features set this vehicle above
others of its class. We have found the
X5 to be a very safe vehicle ... my
wife survied a front-end impact that
resulted in severve damage to the
vehicle, but without injury to herself.

Best Features

Styling and safety features (side- impact air bags, etc.

Worst Features

More rear cargo space

2004 BMW X5 3.0i AWD 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 6M)

Review

While BMW is a well-known name in luxury cars, the X5 falls short. Many options have to be added on with a hefty price tag. Some of the options should come standard on such an expensive vehicle. While there are some problems, the BMW is very responsive with handling and acceleration/braking.

Best Features

Braking....

Worst Features

Rear door should be single, not split, temperature controls should be knobs, limited rear cargo space, rear headrests interferes with rear view viewing, gas mileage needs to be improved, cup holders are terrible, glare sometimes makes controls hard to see, cheaper price tag or more options included.

Review

We have now put allmost 15k on this
car since new. We ordered the car with
every option avail.
Love the performance, but have been to
the dealer 4 times!!! for the same
problem in the last 4mo. Check engine
light keeps coming on, very annoying.
Would look to buy something different
next time. And this is our 4th BMW.
Nav system is antique and does not
offer in dash cd... There should be
away to interface ipod or mp3 format.

Best Features

Performance, handling

Worst Features

Uppdate the nav/phone/stereo system. Reliability is very poor.
