Used 2019 Volkswagen Passat Sedan Consumer Reviews
Lemon
Remote start doesn’t work, no current solutions to fix it, navigation system goes dark, very loud ride, you need the music 1/2 way to max in order to drown out the road noise, skip this car folks, it's a lemon

Comfortable but dangerous
The 2019 Passat is comfortable and rides OK, but you never know what to expect when you accelerate from a stop. When you press on the gas pedal it will either lunge forward and slow, rev up to 5K RPM's in each of the first two gears as it creeps across and intersection, or just sort of noisily rears back and takes off. If you like dangerous surprises when you take off, this drive train is for you. Check this out before you buy or lease.

WAY too many dumb ass-istants
I am EXTREEMLY disappointed with the above car I purchase almost two months ago. The front dumbass-itants cannot be disabled despite the fact that it is shown on the dash to be disabled, if someone passes me and cuts to close (according to the assistants) in front of me, the car with automatically brakes, If your mother (VW) thinks you're going to fast in a corner it automatically brakes the car NOT NECCESSARY!! This is just a scam to generate revenue for spare parts and service because we all know everyone in Wolfsburg is living in a van down by the river! If the front grill, dumbass-istants get covered with snow the cruise control is INABLED!! Again these are ways for VW to generate $$$$$ for spare parts and service! With regard to the GPS, smoke signals and carrier pigeons are faster and more accurate, VW should put their big boy pants on and install Google maps. I hope I'm wrong but I really believe that their are a lot of employees in Wolfsburg on opioids because you wouldn't design a car to function like this unless you were on narcotics. If you need all of these dumbass-istants you should not be driving a car. I know it snows in Germany. If you're bring a takeout pizza home make sure you put it in the back seat as the sensors think it is a person, not even babies weigh as much as a HUGE (as said by Bernie Sanders) pizza!

Luxury Touches and Sporty Look
I have owned a used Volkswagen Passat 2.0T Wolfsburg Edition for a little over 3 years now. After roughly 40,000 miles, it has stood the ultimate test of 2nd ownership. THe bronze color is STUNNING, most of the dealerships I go to compliment on its sheen and uniqueness. Its zippy when you need it to be, very beneficial in urban highway on-ramps when you need it most. Handles turns and quick movements without a hitch. The interior feels elevated and classy. I get compliments on the car all the time. Leather seats are durable and easy to clean. All the touch points are soft touch material and feels nice to the touch. Only interior complaint I have is climate control is a little lackluster and slow to get to warm or cold temps quickly. Technology is good. It has modern necessities like a touch screen and Carplay/Android Auto. All the computer reads you may need. A few downfalls though, occasionally Carplay will freeze up or glitch out unexpectedly, not sure if its a car issue or connectivity in general but it does require a restart of the infotainment center by holding the power button to restart. One convenience I miss is a digital tire-pressure reading in the computer readings. Only issue I have had is an AC Compressor that needed replaced, which was covered under the certified warranty.
