A Driving Experience
I have now owned this car for 3 weeks. The car drives superb. Warranty is bumper to bumper, 7 years/72,000 but was extended by 1 year and 12,000 miles since this was a loaner car with 5500 miles. Just a real solid ride with plenty of go. Turbo kicks in and speed steadily increases. Will update as I become more familiar.

"MOVE OVER, I'M DRIVING"! -Need I say more?
I purchased a VW Passat a little over a month ago. At that time, I had little knowledge about VW vehicles. I chose to purchase this vehicle because of the safety rating, the size of the vehicle, the gas mileage it gets on the highway, and the included warranty, which is transferable to my next vehicle purchase. The Passat seating is comfortable, making it a great choice for those of us who have a long commute to work or for those who do a lot of traveling. It's built with a 4 cylinder engine, however, being its turbo charged, it has pretty impressive "get up and go" ability. The Passat is equipped with many features that I really like, and one which I absolutely love and definitely want to make mention of in this review. What I am referring to is the adaptive cruise control option. Impressively, even when traveling at high speeds, if the need arises for the car to slow down abruptly, it transitions with ease and manages to slow down at a smooth even pace, without being jerky or jarring passengers forward. This feature will be a must have, "deal maker or breaker", for all future vehicles I purchase! In closing of this review, I can honestly say that thus far, I am quite confident I made the right choice in purchasing this vehicle.

2018 Passat SEL "No Longer Premium"
This is our 4th Passat. However, we have noticed a down shift in both quality and quantity on the 2018 SEL Premium trim. The electric folding mirrors have been eliminated. Also eliminated is the Homelink on the rear view mirror. Both of these features were useful and made this trim premium. Without these the SEL become less premium as well as less competitive in the premium midsize sedan market. Please bring them back, and if there is a way to retro fit these, please offer it to the 2018 SEL Premium owners!
