I'm 6'4 tall and this car is perfect for person of my height or even taller. Next time I might go for stranger engine V-6 or W-8, but otherwise no complaints.
3 months and still drooling....

Got to love the latest Passat! Luckily they have fixed most of the minor annoyances in the earlier runs (98- 01). The cup holders are great, finally. The boost in horsepower makes a great difference in traffic. My only beef is the autistic Monsoon Stereo that seems to have a mind all its own. Overall I love this car even more than the day I drove it off the lot. I test drove the new Camry and Altima which felt bland and cheap in comparison. I got a Passat. I have been driving Passt in Europe and I have been a loyal VW lover. I enjoyed driving my passat in UK and when I moved to America. I brought a new passat and I could feel the same power, driving experience and passat sense while driving on American roads. Passat is one of the best vehicles I have ever driven in sedan-4door- category cars. I enjoyed driving passat before and after my wedding.

All around a fun car to driv. VW made significant stride in quality improvement. The 2002 Passat is a far cry from the 1982 Quantum that I owned.

I have a little more than 8,000 miles on my 2002 1.8T 5-speed and so far it has been a great car. Great performance and I have been averaging nearly 28 miles per gallon. I also looked at an A-4 but couldn't see spending the extra money for the Audi. I like the Passat's styling and the interior quality is excellent as is the Monsoon sound system . My only complaint is the cost of routine service at the dealer, but there's always Jiffy Lube.
