This car is fun to drive but I would not recomend the automatic transmission, it slips and they say it is normal. DO NOT GET THE 2.0 Liter Engine... Burns OIL BADLY (1 qt every 900 miles) and they won't fix it, Cruise Control is broken from the day I bought it. I am 6'2" and do not fit well with the leg room, so I hope you are less than 6' tall. Great Car until something goes wrong. Also the heated mirriors never worked so I can't give an opinion about them.

Good Car

Bought the car new and have had very few problems. Replaced the glow plugs at 100,000, and fuel economy is not what it used to be ... but it still gets over 40 mpg. Great car on the highway or country driving. Feels like a sports car.

Fun to drive and looks hot, but the reliabilty is poor. Since it is the first year of the new model, the kinks were not worked out. Numerous problems with electronics. Yet, it is a sporty drive.

My wife bought this car before we were married and before driving hers I never saw myself buying a Volkswagen. Now that I have had experience with hers I my be a Volkswagen/Jetta driver the rest of my life. The car is fun to drive, reliable and we feel a great value.
