Used 2011 Volkswagen CC Sedan Consumer Reviews
LEMON!!! STAY AWAY!
I have owned the car since November of 2010. My 2011 CC Lux Plus is a lemon, plain and simple! I did a year's worth of research on this car and was confident in my decision. All the experts, consumers and the magazines said it was a great car. The day I drove it off the lot was the BIGGEST mistake of my life. The electronics never worked from the start. Bluetooth does not work with my iPhone, nav system thinks I'm in Florida when I live in New York, transmission lurches the car backwards and forwards so much so that I can't parallel park it. Nav system and Bluetooth modules have each been replaced twice, they are JUNK. Car has been in for service 5 times and VW customer service is horrible
Best car and Trusted Friend
Ive owned VWs for 20 years. 86 Jetta, 92 Jetta, 98 Jetta, 2002 Passat and recently a 2011 CC 2.0T. Of all the cars I have owned, I have loved my CC. But youre here for advice. Growing up a VW gear head, I like to think I know a lot about these cars. I bought my 2011 CC in 2014 with about 40k on it. I ran that car HARD up to 180k. I never changed the antifreeze or flushed the transmission fluid but I put in synthetic oil and premium gas and always brought to VW dealership (I'm still not fully sold that dealerships are worth the premium).... this car has been amazing. So long as you plan and take care of it reasonably. Tires- Pay up for the tires, I promise its worth it. Stay OEM for these, they will save you $$$ and the car handles perfectly. Coil Packs- These will fail at 90-100k, REPLACE them all when 1 fails and then plan to do them again about 150k.... I never had problems with suspension (and living in New England I hit craters in the road!). The turbo was bullet proof and I loved it every single day. Cant kill it. One thing I will advise is the rear main seal can become an issue. Mine went at about 130k. I planned for this and put away the 2k for when it needed replacement. Overall, this is a great car. Its fast, fun, and as long as you do the normal maintenance youll enjoy it. Plan on about $1100/ year in maint costs, literally just set it aside in a separate account, so when it needs work, youre good to go. Enjoy!!!! BTW I'm buying a newer CC as I write this because I like them that much.

VW CC 2.0 T LUXURY 2011
This is a wonderful car still everything is working fine....... But, soon we realized the cost of maintenance is pretty high ( only premium gas, low profile tires.......). We had a big problem with the trunk opener (no way to open it !!!!!!!!) went to service, $ 100 for the diagnose...... cost of repair around $800...... After that, a bunch of lights went on....... In conclusion it is a great vehicle to drive, its 200 HP will really please you!!!!!! The gas mileage is not great.......... Better leasing than owning for sure........

its a hoot!
Love the car. Constantly get compliments at gas station or car wash. Sporty, comfortable interior. Superb highway cruiser. Must use cruise control or you will spend a night at the Mayberry jail.
Awesome
This is an awesome car to drive. I have previously owned a saab sports, bmw 535, bmw 330 and this cc lux out classes them in all categories to include handling, ride comfort, audio controls, navigation, mpg (26-33). Well designed exterior and interior. Ergonomically friendly. My only issue has been entry and exit since I am a senior citizen and need to bend a little extra. Well worth the extra effort. I thoroughly enjoy some of the subtle features ie mute, media, usb, touchscreen, navigation, sensor wipers, storage, etc. A great car and have been driving it for over 5 months.
