Almost but Not Quite

2020 Toyota Highlander
I bought a Highlander Platinum and love the way it drives but the driver interface needs work. My sorta petty gripes:
I HAVE to allow notifications to my phone to use the remote start feature, even if I'm only using the key fob. WHY?
The remote start doesn't have a dedicated button and the press the lock button three times procedure fails often.
If I don't lock the car doors after … parking in my garage, the remote start won't work. This is idiotic as the doors could be made to lock as part of the remote start procedure.
When I remote start the vehicle on a cold day, the engine shuts off when I open the door and a cold wind will take any heat gained during the remote start right out of the vehicle. Toyota says this is a safety feature but that's bogus because the vehicle can sense when a person with a key is entering the vehicle.
How do you build a heated steering wheel that only heats HALF the steering wheel?
When the temperature is too hot or too cold, why doesn't the vehicle go to MAX cool or heat and the ventilated or heated seat and steering wheel turn on automatically?
It used to be that Toyota designed their cars for the people who drive them. Unfortunately, that didn't happen with the 2020 Toyota Highlander Platinum.
