2023 Toyota Highlander
I love the appearance, the general ride, and the technology of this SUV. If I had to find any flaw it would be the shifting pattern of the transmission. It does have an odd feel when applying pressure at hard acceleration. I don't think the engineers at Toyota expected me to drive this the same way I drive my Porsche so I adjust my accelerator pedal pressure and all is good. The … tight third row does not register with me as it is something I may never use but if you do, it is not a place for adult to be for more than a couple of uncomfortable minutes. While I agree with many observations that the 6 cylinder was smooth as butter, the 4 cylinder is the future and does the job adequately. So, if you buy into the Toyota lure of Quality, Durability, and Reliability, I believe this to be a great choice.
