2019 Subaru Impreza
This is my third Subaru. I purchased it 13 months ago, and have taken it across country (there/back) twice. 13,000 miles on the clock. Fantastic visibility, great handling, awesome AWD, unpretentious interior. Engine is not real peppy, but it's a daily driver not a track car. I opted for the manual; the clutch and shifter are smooth. There is rev hang but not enough to be a problem. … A great value.
Nitpicks - no temp gauge; gas gauge in twelfths, not sixteenths; TPMS is unnecessary; overly dense owners manual.
9/12/23 Update - Because of covid/remote work, only 27,165 miles total. Across country (there/back) twice more. Currently over 29mpg combined. Except for lack of quickness, still a great driving car.
Minor issues - lost the front/right plastic wheel cover, almost $70 to replace, so riding w/ naked steelie instead; low on oil twice but no apparent leaks
Additional Nitpick - rear spoiler in the way when squeeging hatchback glass
Still no buyer's remorse whatsoever. According to this website car is worth more than I bought it for. A great car and value.
