2023 Chevrolet Traverse
As a mom to a kiddo in a wheelchair, I have been limited to wheelchair accessible vans for the past 7 years. We have owned converted versions of a 2017 Pacifica, 2016 Odyssey, and 2021 Sienna. I recently found out about the Braunability converted Traverse and we made the purchase last week. This is the first time I have truly LOVED my vehicle since as long as I can remember! The ride is … so smooth, the engine is quiet but powerful, and the kids love the dual sunroofs. The wireless carplay is so handy to have, and we are super excited to finally own a wheelchair accessible vehicle that can actually tow a small camper (without having to use a massive full sized wheelchair van). My only complaint so far is the gas mileage--I currently average below 17mpg, but I am hoping that gets better with time. Coming from the hybrid Sienna (30+ mpg), it will just take some time getting used to making a few more stops at the gas station. Its been such a wonderful upgrade for our family though, and I am so grateful to finally have an SUV option with plenty of space, power and comfort for our family of 5, including my son's powerchair. Thanks to Chevy and Braunability for this wonderful vehicle!
