Update @80K - Still Love the car. Maint $$$ high

2018 Audi Q7
Update as of 5/16/22. The Q7 is still a great car and it drives like new at 80K miles. My only issue remains the brake squeal. I do not think this is an issue with other model years. I would buy another Q7 but for the 2018 model, I would test the brakes in reverse to make sure there was no squeal. The dealer did replace the brakes at a discounted rate after I got Audi NA involved. This … worked for about 15K miles.
After three years and almost 50K+ miles, I still love the car. However, the maintenance is very expensive (almost $2K for OEM tires) and was just quoted $3K for a complete brake job. The brake squeal, which seems to be a known issue, is frustrating but the dealer finally fixed it at 40K+ miles. Everyone that rides in the car still says wow but they also say $70K is a lot to pay for a car and had such a brake squeal.
Update 3/18. Just passed 35,000 miles and no changes to my impression as I think it remains best in class. I would purchase again without reservation. The only negatives I have encountered is that service, any service, at the dealership is expensive. Great service and they take care of Audi owners but it is expensive. The only mechanical issue is that the brakes squeal for the first few seconds in reverse after becoming wet and then drying. This is a common thread on owner forums.
