A very roomy, great handling, quiet SUV.

2018 Audi Q7
This is a very roomy, quiet, nice handling SUV. Well built, with all the margins lining up, interior is top notch, everything you expect. My 'complaint' is that it is pretty complicated to set up. From sound, to tire pressure warnings, GPS, bluetooth, etc. There is so much and the systems/menus are not intuitive. One must study the user manual like a final exam and at 70 yrs old, that is … more than I wanted. But we are working our way through it. The vehicle is a joy to drive, a different ride than our old Cayenne (which we loved) but a bit more power. A quieter ride and you don't feel the road like the Cayenne but two different philosophies are at work here. I will have a better review after a 2 month trial. UPDATE: We had to get the front brakes replaced due to a terrible brake noise, dealer covered it. Now months later it seems this was a manufacturers issue and a Class Action resulted in Audi covering the cost of replacement. It did not affect the braking, just obnoxious noise. But they also didn't explain
which part caused it. After owning this a year it is still a really nice car. Fun to drive and great on 500 mile road trips. after I detailed it (clay&wax) I still endorse the fit and finish of the car. Paint and body is excellent. Interior is quality and everything still works. Very roomy, including the back. I have not towed anything with it since COVID restricted our river trips this year, still want to try it out, just because. Very good acceleration, great handling at speed. Handles the desert wind very nicely. I increased the rating to 5-Stars. I like the car.
