2005 Ford Five Hundred
The only reason I'm still not driving this car is because there was a coolant clog to the thermostat that trashed the cam shaft, timing belt, etc. I bought it for $5,700 with 118,000 miles on it in 2014, drove it for 4 years for another 170,000 miles. Never a problem with the CVT, the engine only needed regular maintenance. This is the only car I ever shed a tear over parting with. … Best car I've ever owned. Drove well in CA snow, dry roads, high winds, curves and any other condition. Took corners nicely, very comfy, loads of trunk room, easy for my elderly mother to get in and out of and I liked the chime that reminded you if your turn signal was on too long. Also liked the beep, beep when you were backing up and getting near to something. Hands down, the best car I've ever owned.
