Used 2012 Toyota Venza Wagon Consumer Reviews
Car worth purchasing
This car is wonderful in many ways for it is: an all wheel drive, comfortable, multiple features and roomy. I have had this car for 6 years and I am very happy with my purchase. This is the second Toyota that I have purchased new and they are economical and reliable vehicles that will last you for years (10 years plus). You will rarely have any problems with your vehicle and you will only need to do regular maintenance. The vehicle was not cheap but you get what you pay for! My only complaint is that they are no longer making this vehicle and this is the second time this has happened to me after purchasing a Toyota.

Reliable, safe AWD Vehicle
This is an extremely comfortable, reliable, safe AWD SUV that handles well in snow and on the highway. Shopped against two upscale models (Lexus RX350 and Audi Q7) but I didn't feel that the price differential ($10,000 to $15,000 or more) justified the "prestige" of these brands. Closest competitor in price is the Ford Edge, but fit and finish of the Venza seemed better as did the handling and acceleration based upon test drives (admittedly not a full test of driving dynamics).
Nice car
I purchased Venza in 2012 and really like it. The only thing I am disappointed is the AC system. I found the AC is only working on the front passenger side, but not other areas after 3 years. Toyota is charging the fee for inspection because it's over 3 years. I hope I should notice them right away when I found the problem last year.

Extremely unsafe!
I purchased the 2012 Venza in June of 2012 with high hopes. The options and look were phenomenal. However, there is definitely a safety issue with this vehicle. In Oct. of 2012 the rear passenger window burst while driving down a highway. Today, 05/13/13, I started the car and put it in reverse and the rear window shattered. My concern now - I have a sunroof and panoramic window which I am concerned will have the same issues. Toyota needs to up their expectations - just because they purchased GM doesn't mean they can lower the standards.
