Used 2023 Toyota Tundra Hybrid Consumer Reviews
Pure Power
2023 showroom Capstone Hybrid with sunroof, safe and other fully loaded items, 4K miles. I gave five stars however if you compare Capstone to other truck it will not be apples to apples. Amazing power, ride is smooth and quiet (no noise), cameras and safety and anger things work great. Mpg is a downside and I am getting around 15 mpg avg. for 4K total miles with towing 4k travel for about 1k miles (70% highway 30% hills). Still learning all the gadgets but over all good experiences. Other considerations for potential buyers is maintenance cost, 22” tires are expensive @ about $500 per piece.

My “last” truck purchase!
I love my 2023 Tundra 1794 edition. Drove it down and back to Arizona from Wyoming!! Performed like a charm. Won’t look to replace this beauty so it is my “last” truck I will ever own!!

Probably best bang for the buck!
Noticeable vibration and some hesitation in drivetrain at take off and acceleration ! I still prefer it over the F150,RAM, and Silverado! I also own a used Truck/ car dealership for past 22 years and owned several Tundras and Lexus and believe in the superior reliability of Toyota .

TRD Pro is best Toyota Go Fast truck!!
We’ve had ours for 3k …and gotta say, well I’m absolutely floored that Toyota did this model right and it is FAST! If you haven’t driven the TRD…go test drive one NOW…1 ride and we were hooked!!

Interior from hell
2nd new Toyota purchase. First was a 2017 Sienna which bas been great! Thankfully my drivetrain held up fine. That said, I traded her in at 9,500 miles. The interior…never stopping wind noise, passenger door rattling, rattles around the panoramic sun roof..drivers seat lumbar popping, center console made from McDonalds toys plastic… On the exterior, my headlight is pealing on top( dealer said I must have put something on it, so not covered at 4,000 miles), wavy wheel wells, 4x4 that came with what looks like Prius tires. Yes, you will scratch a curb very easily. The air bag rear suspension wasn’t that smooth and was bouncing when trying to tow a camper. The Toyota dealership could never reproduce the noises so…I ended up trying to fix via YouTube and weather stripping and sound deadening. It kinda worked. The good: power! When you put in premium which I did the entire time I owned it. With regular fuel, you can tell it pulls timing. I got about 16 MPG which is less than rated. I’d say half highway driving. I traded it in on a 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 AT4 gas engine. Interior is great and engine doesn’t need the body off frame if something goes wrong. Half tons seem to all be going down hill….Toyota had the best…I should have bought a 2021.
