Used 2023 Toyota Tundra Hybrid Consumer Reviews
Loving it So Far
Bought a limited 4x4 I-force max with TRD off Road package back in June it has been great. I came from a 2016 Tacoma and the power and the 10 speed transmission shifting is far better hands down. I am getting about 16.7 mpg on my in town commute with 35 inch aftermarket tires and 18 inch wheels. There was a slight rattle behind in the plastic on side of the bed but my service department fixed that. My only complaint is I wish the grille surround was color matched instead of aluminum chrome on the limited trim. Probably going to get OEM parts professionally painted and replace that.

KEPT I MONTH
Steering very sensitive to the point it is dangerous. Can't see over the touch Screen on sharp r.h. turns.Ride was rough and bumpy. No rear floorboard Storage as the plastic bin under the rear seat is the depth of the seat.I had a 2018 tundra that i loved and ordered the 2023 1794.sold the truck after 1 month and took a 8 k hit.can't say enough negative things about this model

This this is absolutely garbage
From trim falling off to the plastic rattling interior. This vehicle is absolutely terrible. I just traded my 23 TRD in for a f150. I'm extremely happy to be out of that piece of crap. What a failure toyota! Do better

What happened Toyota?
After owning four Tundras, a 2002, 2007, 2016, and the 2023, I can confidently say Toyota has really messed up a once great truck. Went so far to trade mine for a new GMC Sierra (excellent truck so far after 21,000 miles). I had never ending issues with my Tundra. The interior quality is subpar at best, the paint chips just looking at it the wrong way, the techy stuff is buggy and glitchy, and absolutely awful fuel economy. All in all a massive disappointment. We’re just a half Toyota family now as my Wife still loves her 4Runner. Buying a new Tundra? Well, you’ll make new friends at the local Toyota service department!

2023 capstone- garbage
Traded my 2015 tundra limited in for a w023 capstone. This is probably one of the worst decisions I've ever made. This vehicle had been in the shop more than it has been in my garage. Today the hybrid malfunction light came in along with the check engine and traction control warning. This is the second time in less than 12 months for the hybrid malfunction warning.
