5-Star reviews are mostly for initial quality
The 5-Star reviews on this site give the '07 Tundra rave reviews. The reviews posted after driving the Tundra for over 5 years are all pretty bad. I just bought an '07 Tundra with 93k miles on it for $13.9k - due to the low miles for an 11 year old vehicle. I'll try to remember to re-post after I've driven it for six months or so...

105K miles - Best car I ever bought
I've owned this truck for a little over two years now, and over 100K miles. Aside from a Toyota Celica I had in college, this is the best car/truck I have ever owned. Great reliability, great power, great towing capacity. All I've had done to it is change the oil & rotate the tires every 5K miles and recently, changed the front/rear differential oil. The ribber gaskets around the front doors do come off at the upper corner if you use automatic car washes. That's my only complaint. Fuel mileage is what you would expect for a 5.7L with this much power and torque. I get about 18/Hwy and 16 City.
BUY ONE!
Just another honest opinion. Bought the Crewmax when they first came out. Compared with my other vehicles, I couldn't be happier. I won't mention the brands but they have all been in and out of dealership for repairs. This truck has been the most reliable vehicle I have owned. However, as with all vehicles there has to be a problem. The front diff. Needs repairing. Makes a "woo. Woo" noise once and a while. But Toyota will replace it. Unlike other brands who claim you are hearing things. Tons of power, tons of room, not bad on fuel (87 octane), and will spank a ext. Cab hemi with the supposed 390 hp. (ask my brother ; ) ). Stereo is good not great.
2007 CrewMax
Plenty of interior storage space with bucket seats. Very smooth ride even with the off road package. Transmission is very smooth shifting. The rear seating is incredible. I'm a first time Toyota buyer and this truck beats my '01 and '03 Chevy HD Crews by a mile.
