Seriously cheap and junky feeling
Went to test drive a Tacoma.. What a piece of cheap feeling junk! The fenders are chintzy and flex, the knobs on the interior are loose and the door panels flex horribly. The interior is cramped. Toyota still cant figure out how to make a decent seat height and for 40K you would expect height adjustable seats. The instruments look like fisher price designed them and the knobs feel like they are going to fall off. My GF's 2016 Toyota Corolla at half the price, feels like 3x the quality. Doors on the Taco close like they are made of paper.. Doesnt inspire confidence. What a shame. What are these idiots thinking? Dont bother.

Test drive and decide for yourself I just bought the v6 limited double cab and I love it! I have the limited edition and it is loaded with extras and as usual Toyota has done an outstanding job on this vehicle - one minor issue is that the bed cover has had to be readjusted to fit properly and still doesn't lay flat but is a nice feature to have - my dealer did adjust it, apparently it was not installed properly at the dock - check yours 2020 mileage at 9000 the cowling under the front windshield is disintegrating - Toyota is going to replace the part, the rubber sleeves on the tonneau cover are literally turning into melted rubber - I live in Torrance California area not a desert - waiting a month for parts to arrive - then replace - Toyota has provided $500 towards parts/labor - no other plastic/rubber is disintegrating - check your vehicle - this should not happen after all it is a vehicle - extremely disappointed -

2016 TRD Sport experiance
It rides well, has a smooth engine and transmission, good sound system, the bluetooth is great, all other options are great. It is a little tall for a short person to get in.

Just fell in love with it
My wife and I were looking at pickup trucks and went to see the new Toyota Tacomas as we had an '09 Tacoma. The new body and size is a great improvement over the earlier years. It also has much better styling and features. I am about 5'10" and getting in and out of the driver side can be difficult as my head hits the roof line of the door opening. My wife is about 5'2" and has no problems with it. Surprisingly I have no trouble getting in or out on the passenger side. The dealer we purchased through ours through was great to deal with and offered an excellent trade value for our '09 as well as very good price on the truck we bought.
