Used 2005 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Consumer Reviews
Sturdy and fun!!
I was sold on Dodge for many years having owned 3 Dodge trucks and 1 Dodge van. After the Dodge dealership didn't have what I wanted, and didn't seem too eager to procure my vehicle of choice, for grins, I stopped by the Toyota dealership. That afternoon, I test drove the 2005 Tacoma Crew Cab, 4x4 and NEVER LOOKED BACK!!! They ordered what I wanted and I have had nothing but praise for this truck.
I LOVE IT
I will have to say that I really enjoy the sound of that engine... it is a truly TOYOTA sound... I love my Tacoma... and haven't notice the "bump" problem, but will pay attention...

Outstanding Truck--worth the price
After one month of ownership, I have no serious complaints about this truck. It handles wonderfully and has plenty of power to spare. I am so glad I chose the LB over the SB. I am 6-4 285 and was plenty comfortable in the front cab. I test drove this cab with 3 others that were over 6-0 and 200 pounds and we were all mostly comfortable. As far as noise goes it can get a little loud during accelleration but is reasonable and quiet most of the time. Hope you like cup holders, this has a bunch, good for cups and water bottles in the doors.
Really Fun Pickup
Have had the truck for three months. Great handling truck on mountain roads. Great sense of stability. Plenty of power to pass when there is little room in which to pass. Great rear seat accomodation for grandchildren.
Happy As Can Be
I've had my Toyota Tacoma for 2 weeks now and the more I drive it the more I fall in love with it. I owned a 2002 Toyota Tacoma but there is no comparison. The 2005 is so roomy on the inside, it's wider, it stands taller; there are more bells and whistles as standard equipment. Best decision I ever made was to trade in the 02 for the 05. No wonder it's truck of the year
