You better save your money for gas!!!!!
I knew this car would get bad gas mileage but I didn't expect it to be horrible. I drive normal around town, even make a concerted effort to not jump on the gas, maintain 75 on the highway, and I am averaging 11 MPG's. I have had trucks before, SUV's, and have never experienced this. 3800 miles, owned the car new since Sept 2018. If fueling up a concern for you, do not buy this car.

Don't wait!
The only thing that I did not like about my new Sequoia is waiting so long!

Loooong overdue for an update.
When this version of the Sequoia was released, George W. Bush was President (2007). It's as if Toyota wants the Sequoia to go away. I loved my 2006 Sequoia and think this never-ending generation is ugly. The dashboard is outdated. Tech is outdated. Plastic interior. Come on Toyota, you can do better!!

Severely Outdated.

Sloppy when turning. With a fix.
After buying my Sequoia. I had to drive about a hundred miles. The first things I noticed when leaving my neighborhood. The swaying of the vehicle going side to side when making a turn with a drainage ditch. I have two turns that this effect happens on. The front ends dives left or right pretty deep on any turn, but more so with drainage ditches. I also noticed how the crosswinds gusts push on either side of the Sequoia. And this also cause a swaying effect. So you probably figured it out by now. I replaced the weak original swaybars, to the Toyota TRD swaybars (front and back). I am very happy with the results. Less sway, and I'm able to make turns faster. I also noticed the passenger sun visor drooping. Yes, I am very happy with my Sequoia now that I upgraded the swaybars. The 8 month update: My wife is the main driver, and she says- "we are never going to get rid of this car" (SUV). She feels safe. The turning ratius on this Sequoia is surprisingly small. The engine power is quick. Road noise in the most is part quiet. You can't hide the imperfection of the road. So, as I write this. I am also in agreement with my wife. We like this monster. The one thing, I want to change is the height. The Sequoia appears to be to low.
