So far, so good!

Have put about 5000 miles on a lease/return since purchased 10/08 including about 1500 miles in extremely nasty snow/wind/icing conditions across the northwestern US. Handles snow packed "driveways" with 12-15% grades. We have room for my yellow lab in his kennel, 3 suitcases and a box of apples behind the split rear seat. Road noise is less than our Subaru OB. We have averaged 25+ MPG since purchase with individual tanks running between 24 MPG and 29 mpg highway. V6 cruises easily at 70 MPH with power to spare while passing. Driver visibility is great.

Lovin my Rav4

I've had my 2008 V6 4WD Rav4 for a week and lovin' every minute of drivining it. I've already tested the PSI warning light as I had a nail in the tire within a few days of purchasing. Had the light not gone on, I suspect I would have had a flat tire vs. being able to check it out before it went completely flat. Engine very quiet - to the point it sounds like it stalled. It's the perfect size - takes up the same space in the garage as my Volvo S70 - maybe even a little less space.

It is an awesome car.. not too big , not too small. it is perfect. I love my car.. I was able to fit a twin box spring by folding up the back seat.. It is reliable, sturdy.. I have bought mine back in 2013 and have had it since then ..Not one regret. it is the perfect car for me and suits my needs, especially since I have been driving a whole lot in the past years for work. thank you 5/8/2023: my perfect car remains the perfect car. Even 10 years later, my 2008 Toyota RAV4 has continued to be there for me. Of course, I have made sure to service her twice a year or as needed including changing parts as requested by the Toyota service department. This car remains my favorite one because of how well everything was made and function no matter the weather. Thank you.

I love the 269 HP of this Hot Rod. Toyota doesn't produce a V6 in the new RAV4. The car still haul's ass. I stopped taking it to Toyota for service. We are at 114,000 miles. My Wife bought a 2021 Venza Hybrid and I drive the RAV4 now. Interior leather showing age. Getting some dings. On forth battery. Alternator replaced. Water pump. Brakes 3rd set. One set of tires. Nothing major just oil changes and cabin filters when the AC quits being cold. Use Castrol oil 5w-30 and a Toyota filter every 3500 miles. I figure it will go another 200,000 miles. I drive the Venza most of the time. 38 mpg around town. 48 mpg best on highway. The RAV4 gets 22 mpg still. The RAV4 has become my pickup truck. I will keep the RAV4 as long as I can. .
