Used 2007 Toyota RAV4 Consumer Reviews
2007 RAV4 great review!
I leased the vehicle based on the rating in Consumers Reports where it scored the highest in its classification. After six months I have 3,400 miles on it (my wife's vehicle). I had the oil changed at the dealer we leased from and have absolutely no complaints. Great vehicle. It is the 4 cylinder and we average about 28 MPG on the road and 23MPG in the city. Great mileage for a small SUV. Everything works and no recalls. I am very well satisfied at this point!
Great Value and Reliability
I have had the RAV4 for about 18 months and no problems. A real value and very reliable. MPG, about 23 in town and 28-30 on the highway. Plenty of room and comfort, with plenty of headroom and very little wind and road noise. The 4 cylinder has plenty of power and did not need speeding tickets with the V6 engine. I have a new 2008 Highlander and I call the RAV4 my baby Highlander. Very hard to find fault with.

Outstanding car to have. Better than my BMW X5 in terms of quality and cost to drive
2007 Toyota RAV4 Limited
Bought a leftover 2007 LTD,4 cyl, 4WD in Classic Silver I have only owned it for about 2 weeks and about 200 miles, but I am impressed! The interior is extremely comfortable, the ride is smooth, there are no rattles or squeaks (even doing 75 on the highway), and even this 4-cyl. merges with traffic and gets up hills w/o problems. I like that the door swings out rather than up. At less than 5' tall, I can reach it! I like the fact that the door swings out to face the wrong side of the curb. I park in my driveway and the open part of the back faces my walkway to the house. Perfect.
Little Maintenance?
Bought this new in 2007. It has 36,000 on it now. At 26K had to replace all 4 tires. They are 17" tires ($$$) and the dealer wanted us to pay 800 dollars to get it inspected. I bought them at a tire place for half. They said it was normal on Rav 4's that the stock tire wears out by 25K miles. The 30K maintenance cost us almost 400 dollars and I'm not really sure why. I get carsick in it if I'm not driving, same thing with my wife. My kid gets carsick on long trips as well. At 36,000 miles the check engine light came on accompanied by a light that said VSC and the 4X4 light too. Took it in and had to replace the coil. Paid 109 dollars for diagnosis. Also hard to tell if 4WD is on or not.
