Used 2007 Toyota RAV4 Consumer Reviews
18-Month Review
I'm coming up on 15000 miles, love this SUV. Drove from NoVa to NC beaches (10 hours) with 4 adults, 2 dogs, luggage, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc., plenty of room, everyone comfy the whole trip. Temp over 100 degrees, had no problems with AC. I like the side-hinged rear door; when installing the cargo carrier on the roof rack, I was able to stand on the rear deck and install the back end of the carrier, also the carrier could stick out further than the back of the car and we could still open the rear door. This SUV is so much fun to drive, it handles beautifully, it's powerful, I still love driving it after almost 18 months. Only maintenance so far: oil changes.
after a 2000 mile test drive...well...
I took it down to Santa Barbara from Newport, Or. Finally, I started getting the good gas mileage at about 1400 miles, averaging about 70 mph with a stiff headwind. I think this is a great car! Love it, from the power to the JBL stereo, etc.

Love this car
This is a great vehicle. I down sized from a Dodge Durango and other than a few of the comforts (heated seats, leather) I don't miss it for a second. The RAV has a smooth ride with guts when needed. I love taking it up to the mountians on ski trips and with all the room there is plenty of room for friends.
LOVE my RAV!!
I am in sales and pretty much live in my vehicle. Because I'm in the construction industry and do some off- road driving to get to job sites, I decided to get the Rav4 Sport for the 4WD. I love the roominess and the layout. It is very comfortable and fun to drive. I also get excellent gas mileage. I am extremely pleased with it!
Good car, though not exciting
Bought our RAV with 32k miles on it and have owned it 3 yrs now. Previously I had an '01 RAV which I just loved. This one is a very good car, but somehow not as satisfying. It has been reliable and versatile and pleasant, but I did like the seats, styling and overall size better in the old one. This car is more of a soccer mom car and since I don't have kids, I'm considering trading it for something more fun and sporty for a change.
