Used 2016 Toyota Prius Hatchback Consumer Reviews
Deal breaking exterior design
Headline says it all, I would probably be driving a 2016 Prius had it not been for the impossibly bad exterior design. I had a good test drivr, but I simply could not purchase a vehicle that made me cringe every time I looked at it. Good thing my 2007 Prius is in good shape. Perhaps I will hold onto it for another couple years and see if Toyota comes up with something a little less psychotic looking.

Repeat Prius buyer
Car seems not to hold the road as well as old Prius. Cut down the weight to improve fuel economy. Less rear storage space😒

Prius Touring 4 not so good
Oh man the seats are very uncomfortable, small and even on a short drive can create back pain. Also very difficult to get in and out of the front seat. Visiblity very bad, the back seat head rest impede view through the back window. Very little storage, crummy single cd player. Interior trim around instruments and center console made with very cheap plastic materials. No spare tire! Wow Toyota how the mighty have failed. I had a 2007 touring Prius and loved it but this 2016 falls short on every aspect in comparison other then mileage.

Love my new Prius 3
I am averaging almost 60 mpg!! Love the information available at your fingertips. Comfortable and more sporty than my previous Prius. Winter average in colder temperatures with snow tires is about 45 mpg.

Unexpected Great Buy
This car is fun to drive. There is a visibility issue. It a very smooth ride and handles well. This isn't a sports car so the acceleration isn't there but it has a power mode. Also, there no privacy in the trunk. You can see the entire trunk from the outside. I bought a large bin for this. Otherwise, the more I drive it, the more in love I am. I keep discovering cool techie things. Plus it's a cool looking car. Love the lights. I didn't buy it because it was a hybrid. I bought it because it was cool. The hybrid was just extra. Still love it 7 months later. The dealership tried to convince me to trade up, but I love the 2016 design. FYI only have Toyota work on the vehicle due to the innovative technology. You want someone specifically trained on this model. It usually takes a Master Tech for anything outside of routine maintenance.
