Used 2016 Toyota Prius Hatchback Consumer Reviews
gas saver, so quiet
It makes me love driving even with the heavy traffic. It is so smooth and quiet. I only do not like the white cup holders and the sun visor is too short that does not cover the side at all.

Tim's 2016 Prius Touring Review
Some people I've met don't like the look of the new exterior design, the look of the wing tip rear lights in particular. I don't mind the looks but it takes some getting used to at first. It grows on you and I remind myself it's not the main reason I bought this car. At least now it has its own identity from the millions of older Prius's out there. The white console and steering wheel appliques have way too much contrast against a black or grey interior. I insisted the dealer include the Black console applique and black interior. The moonscape interior is just too much for me. Besides from some little gripes on appearance, everything else is amazing. I traded in a loaded 2013 Prius and this car is so much nicer. The doors are solid and don't sound like tin cans, the engine electronics give you a noticeable gas mileage improvement. The Bose sound system is much better than the Bose system I had in my old car. The safety technology is very cool, the dynamic speed control is much smoother than my old car. The 2016 Prius looks different but it performs fantastic.

Highly practical, low operating,maintenance costs
The 4th generation Prius has high utility at a low cost. At 175,000 miles the engine and eCVT are like new, brakes show little wear, gets 52 mpg overall and the gas tank range is nearly 600 miles. Maintenance is just tire rotations, oil changes every 10,000 miles and new plugs every 120,000 miles. No serpentine belt to replace, no starter or alternator to go bad. It should remain a trouble-free car for 300,000+ miles. The hatchback is big enough to hold a bicycle, or two with a blanket between them.

2016 prius eco
With the eco trim. No spare tire. Guess I have to watch tire condition to avoid tire problems or keep AAA on speed dial if I have a tire problem

The future's technology here today
For a small car,the new Prius is head and shoulders above its competitors in performanceand features it offers, but at a price. Compared to the Hyundai Sonata Limited I'm currently driving,it provides much better mileage with its 1.8 engine, which while quite adequate, lacks the snappier performance of the Sonata's 2.4 engine. Surprisingly, the ride is actually more comfortable than the larger, roomier Sonata. Both handle well. The interior trim does leaves something to be desired, while the expensive add-ons are a negative, however.Still, my research indicates it to be one of the safest, most economical autos to own for the long haul and has superior resale value.
