Used 2011 Toyota Prius Hatchback Consumer Reviews
A (Quiet) Joy to Drive
Although I had read reviews suggesting the Prius was like driving a wet blanket (something that almost kept me from buying it), I've found myself looking forward to the chance to just get in and drive somewhere. My wife and I bought this car to take on long trips to replace our XTerra and as a commuter car for me. There's almost no road noise. In fact, when we first drove it, I mistook the fan for that because it is so quiet. The engine handles the steep hills in our area with no trouble. You may find the price a bit steep, but the more gas goes up, the better the deal the car is.
Best car I have ever owned!

Prius Generation 3
Verify what model. dealership lied and misprinted tag saying PRIUS 5, most loaded, not Prius 2, base with one option. New would have been 24500. Five years old and used 11265. Great value and it was Toyota CERTIFIED, so I had additional warranty and protections.

Great service
Make sure there isnt high mileage
I also hate this car
Leased it. It gets 45 MPG from the day One. As an EE I tell you there is no point in those batteries on this car. Any diesel engine can get you 45 MPG. Like VW Jetta does it or Civic. And the price is the same. I am glad I leased it. Just one more year... Quality is better than Camry 09 I use to have and only because my Prius made in Japan not in Kentucky. Bottom line: any car with 1.5L-1.8 L engine is better AND cheaper than Prius. The money you think you've saved is the money you paid for this car.
The best
The best in every aspect
I hate this car
We just recently bought a Prius and it is awful. I hate it!!! The reason we bought the car was for the good gas milage which is not 51mpg, it is closer to 44-45mpg. The car is boring is it miserable to drive. the design is terrible, it is a eyesore to look at and everything feels cheaply made. The back window is the worst design, the cross bar is directly in my line of vision so I cant see out the back window. Also because it so boring to drive ill turn on the radio for entertainment just to find out the radio is terrible quality. One last thing i hate about the prius is that there is no speedometer of rpm gage, it has a little screen that tells you the speed.
Seriously poor interior - rattling gets much worse in winter - Overall "OK"
Title explains mostly..
The ONE
I've owned a 2011 for only 8 months, and it has 15,000 miles on it. The mpg = 54! This is my 2nd Prius. The 1st was a generation 2. The 2011 handles well, is fun to drive, and simply easy on the pocketbook.
Honest Prius Review
Looking for an adequate commuter vehicle with great gas mileage, this is the car for you.
