Used 2006 Toyota Prius Consumer Reviews
Car of the Century
The interior is much roomier than my 2006 Corolla. But I'm only getting 40-45 mpg combined city and freeway driving contrary to 51-60 mpg on sticker. I tried using mostly cruise control as suggested by one of the reviewer but the lesser mileage I was getting. Better mileage if driving not more than 60 mph. The ride is a little bit bumpy. Powerful brake is great.
Most quiet car I've ever owned
The Prius is a well thought out vehicle. I'm on my second take in 6 weeks. First two tanks averaged 43.5 MPG. This is low due to the fact that I make very short 1-2 mile trips and it's cold in Ohio. Summer should bring the mileage up in the 50's. The car rides very nice and is extremely quiet. It truely is a techie car with the on-board display screen and optional navigation. I'm thrilled with my purchase and would recommend the car to anyone!

Don't know how they did it
I wish I knew how they got 60mpg. We drove from South Florida to central New Hampshire and back up and down the Smoky Mountains, on freeways, small towns, fully loaded (by the way this car holds tons of stuff) in cool-cold weather, in high heat, with and w/o a/c during the gas shortage. travelled 3100 mi---paid $210 for gas the entire month we were gone! Still, mph for the month was 44.6 We use cruise control as much as possible, everything we can think of--still cant get to the 60 they claim. Great comfort, great bells and whistles. Love the car.
Toyota Prius
It's not only a fun car to Drive, but easier to park in tight places. My overall fuel economy has been about 47 MPG.
From a Tahoe to a Prius
Amazing car to drive. Love that I only have to fill the tank every two to three weeks.
