2025 Toyota Corolla Consumer Reviews

Loud, Underpowered, Unsafe
I had a 2023 Toyota Corolla LE with 12,300 miles on it for 3 weeks. The car is loud. Really loud. The steering wheel is thin and had slippery plastic. The seats are flat and lack support. The “cheapness” of the car is visible everywhere. From hard plastics and thin sharp metal used everywhere from the fuel filler door to the trunk. The stock base sound system is terrible and due to the noise useless. Thank goodness for Apple CarPlay support as the screen is bad and getting to a radio station takes many steps. It is shocking that Toyota skips skips safety features like dimming mirrors and heated exterior mirrors.

Toyota is the best decision.
The Corolla is an excellent car. Road noise on highway is very quiet, so you don't have to crank the stereo. You don't need performance because all performance does is get you in trouble. Smart, reliable, practical and affordable. Drive one yourself before listening to someone's opinion.

Fragile Frame
I live in a city wear the roads are bad. Even the highways are bad. I hit bumps and the car takes a lot of hits and I have to avoid low train tracks because the car will sink once it hits one. The car now rattles from being on these bad roads.

Uncomfortable seats!!
Love the car but the seats are very uncomfortable. I’ve had 6 Toyota’s going back to a ‘78 Corona and these seats are the worst. Also, no heated mirrors on the standard LE in Northeast Ohio. Heated mirrors were standard on the 2009 LE Corolla. Will purchase Honda next time.
TOO MUCH ROAD NOISE
One other dislike. No headroom.
