Used 2017 Toyota Corolla LE 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl CVT) Consumer Reviews
I hate this car!
I have been a Toyota fan since I bought my first one in the 1960's, I haven't owned any other brand and I was never disappointed until 2016. I was extremely happy with my 2004 and never would have given it up(it only had 48,000 mi.) if it wasn't totaled by another driver. At low speeds(30mph) the car hesitates as if I am continually touching the brake. At highway speed (60mph) the car does not hold the road and drifts, so I am constantly steering to hold the car steady. At my six month checkup they told me the car was performing normally and this was backed up by a case manager at Toyota headquarters. I have the temperature set at 66 degrees, but the air always seems too hot or too cold. I am short and I find the visibility poor. I am also over 65 so I am not a fan of having to program everything, but that's my problem, not the car's. Well, that's enough complaining for now. I have gotten used to the car so it's not as bad as when I first got it. One good thing is that the hesitation has stopped, but it took a year.

Advice
I Switch between Hyundai 2017 Elantra and Toyota 2017 Corolla because I thought Corolla was better but after using Corolla I'm very upset because for the first month of my use it of Corolla I had three problems in the car 1.I have a very annoying wheezing sound when driving at 40 miles I think in the transmission that it is imagine me driving a very old car and going Twice to Jerry dealer and did not fixe it and sent an E-mail to Toyota America and They did not find a solution I am dissatisfied.

Modern gas saver saquachie
Toyota safety sense is a plus!!! Modern styling with a good small overlap crash rating which is not easy to find in all cars currently. For example my 2017 Tundra crewmax has a bad small overlap crash test result.

Best fuel economy!
Update 4/2020. I have 67k miles on it. No reliability issues at all. Only thing I had changed were the front brake pads at 60k. I bought Akebono pads and works well. I'm planning soon to have a transmission fluid service at Toyota due to the mileage./// I bought my 2017 Corolla LE used in a Toyota dealer in Orlando FL on November 2018. It's been a year so I believe I'm ready to write an honest review. I love the styling on my car and it ages well. Trunk is big and has a real spare tire, not a tire inflation kit. The interior is roomy and back seat has great leg room. Front seats on the LE are flat, low on support, no lumbar, and the height adjustment keeps lowering the seat. Every once in awhile i have to pump the seat back up because is fall to the lowest setting which is weird. AC is strong and keeps me comfortable in FL weather. Interior has a lot of cheap plastics and there's a rattle on the ceiling when the weather is cold. The safety systems are amazing. Radar cruise control is a life saver. Lane keep detection and tons of airbags make me feel very safe. Radio is basic but sounds good. The engine has decent power and has been reliable. The CVT transmission is a dog and makes the car feel sluggish but I gotten used to it. Oh, and beware that the beautiful LED Hi definition headlights bulb is non serviciable. The headlamps are sealed in the back and if the LEDs burn out, prepare to pay over $500 dollars for 1 headlamp assembly. Whoever made that decision at Toyota needs to go! Oil changes are very easy to do. I've taken my Corolla to several road trips and is comfortable on highways and I average 38-40mpg hwy driving. City driving I do 34-36 mpg so I'm extremely happy with the fuel economy. I recommend the Corolla to anyone looking for reliable basic transportation. The only thing keeping me for giving it a 5 star is the cheap interior and the slow droning CVT transmission. But reliability has been perfect!

Very Dependable
This Toyota Corolla is very reliable. I replaced a old unreliable Chevrolet Aveo with my new Corolla and I cannot be any happier! Night and day compared to the Aveo. I really like the safety features and the new radar cruise control which I use every day! So convenient. I choose a basic LE model in silver. I find the seats very comfortable and the ac is very powerful. The stereo is Ok, no Android Auto is disappointing but usb and aux jack makes it better. Reverse camera works very well. Rear seat is huge and comfortable. The best feature of my Corolla is the fuel economy. I get 36mpg average between city and hwy. The cvt works well in my opinion. I'm very happy with my decision to dump GM for Toyota. The lows Toyota needs to improve on the Corolla is the creaking and rattles in the interior. So much cheap terrible rattling plastic inside. Wind noise also needs improved. Overall i give my Corolla a 9 out 10 due to the noisy low quality interior. The best of course besides reliability is the outstanding fuel economy.
