This car has been in our family since it rolled off the assembly line and we've all fought to drive it. Nothing is more fun than dropping the top on a sunny day and flying through all five speeds. The leather is still in great condition and the styling seems to get better with age; I get asked all the time what kind it is. Of course, it's Toyota reliable. So much fun and so many miles left to drive!

Oh how the critics can be so shortsighted. Yes my 23 year old drop top 5 speed manual still runs like a champ with 172K on it. The styling is far superior to most cars now. Based on the offers I am getting the car is appreciating in value. It’s not a sports car, its a Corolla on a different body with a soft top with one of the most solid engines ever built. Even as a convertible it still big enough to be daily driver with backseats and a real trunk. It turns heads with the top down in 2021 because it styled right. Best part is you can get them for under $4K and insurance is dirt cheap and parts are cheap and available but it so reliable you may not need them. It’s one of the best value used cars in the world. They cost more back in the day because they were built better.
