Where'd the quality go?
I have owned my Camry for over 2 years and 30,000 mi. Initially, I loved the car and couldn't drive it enough. Rattles, squeaking, and transmission troubles started shortly after. After several trips to the dealership, I am happy to report that everything has been taken care of. My wife and I were in a serious accident with it and while it was in the shop, we couldn't wait to get it back. Over the month it was in the shop, we rented several different cars and nothing seemed to measure up to the comfort and options of the Camry. Strongly recommend it, just make sure it has been taken to the dealership for the technical bulletins.
Total History of 12 years
Have 110,000 miles and still going strong. Paint needs some attention but mechanically the car is great. Could not ask for a better car. Adequate performance, good gas mileage, very comfortable (leather seats), reclining rear seats and large trunk. Only major repair was the a/c, Fr Brakes & Power Steering return line during past two years ago and replacement of dash due to a melting problem which was covered by Toyota through an extended program.

Best Camry yet!
This is my fifth Camry, and definitely the best yet. Very comfortable seating position for both me and my husband. Smooth shifting. Good acceleration for engine size, and good mileage, especially when highway cruising around 70 mph (33-34 mpg). Lots of nice standard features. Steering wheel controls for stereo mode, presets, volume, temperature, Bluetooth, computer info. Great dual zone climate control. Customizable features which don't require dealer help like some brands (auto lock modes, interior light modes, etc.). Reclining rear seat.
Lexus for Less
I love this car. I am getting 30+ highway and 27 combined. I made sure that I had a Japan built car instead of Kentucky and the quality is great. Toyota Customer Service is not educated and so don't expect answers from them. The XLE is well worth the extra dollars. Stereo is fantastic but the Bluetooth cellphone feature creates an echo unless you use the earphone. Very quiet and smooth but not a sports car.
Still happy
Just passed 80,000 miles and still drives like new. Three issues though; first of all, never use 0w20 oil. My lifters have been tapping ever since I did. Second, I had to replace my brakes after only 8 months. Since then, drilled/slotted rotors w/ ceramic pads still have 50% on them. Third, what the heck is up with the tires? I was literally forced to purchased sports car tires for this sedan! The originals lasted 70k but now I have 40k warranty tires that cost more than the originals AND I've lost an average of 6 mpg! This is stupid!
