Toyota can't be beat

This is car is far above anything in it's class. Toyota showed out with this model. It is so much better than the previous model. There is a reason Toyota is about to be the #1 car maker in the world this year, because they make cars like the Camry. Everybody else needs to sit back and watch how the best do it.

Ride is very smooth and quite. Great safety feature. I got 35 highway mileage with ac on and combined 28/29 mile per gallon with ac on.

Great performance, great gas mileage (even with the V6), superior quality - I always thought of a Camry as just a practical family sedan. It is all that and more. Its fun to drive and I love the luxury.

Oh What a Feeling - 2007 Camry SE

2007 Toyota Camry SE 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A)

I finally got MY 2007 Toyota Camry SE with leather, tinted windows, side body mouldings, paint/rust/sound protection package and in Barcelona Red! The "sports" suspension really is a SPORTS suspension. The handling is amazing. The wider stance of the car is noticeable (I previously had a 2002 Toyota Camry LE). The steering is tight and response yet refined. The ride is firm but not bumpy, after all is it a Camry. Toyota has really done a great job on the suspension and it is the most impressive part of this car: the SE really is a SPORTS EDITION. The 4C is great! It is considerably more responsive than the previous 2002 2.4L engine that I had AND it has a great "growl"!

Overrated?

I purchased my Camry LE approximately one year ago, and I must say that my overall impression of the vehicle is average at best. The transmission, or more specifically, the power transfer is scary. There is a full 3-4 second delay when accelerating/passing, and it is downright dangerous on the interstates. The tires are noisy at 20K miles, unless it can be attributed to something more serious like wheel bearings. The reprogramming of the transmission shifting seemed to help for awhile, but it's reverted back. It's also bad when decelerating, then re-accelerating. I'll probably sell it to avoid an expensive transmission repair after the extended warranty expires.
