Used 2007 Toyota Camry Consumer Reviews
Great car
We've had our Camry for a couple of weeks. We enjoy the comfortable, quiet ride. The XLE is very luxurious for a Camry. Back seat has LOTS of room. The V6 has the performance the Camry has been lacking. But, fuel economy is average - we are averaging about 23 mpg with town and some highway driving. I think that may be a consequence of me enjoying the V6 a little to much ;) Controls on the steering column are very convenient. The auto lights feature is nice, but takes some getting used to. Overall, we are very pleased with our new car.
Not the same as my old Camry
I traded in my 1993 Camry after 14 years and 137000 miles with no problems. This Camry doesn't compare in any way to my old one. It's bigger and drives nice, but there are too many squeaks and rattles in the entire car. Very cheap feeling plastic parts.
Never a Toyota Again
I bought myself a car that has been back for several defects, including rattles from dash area. Apparently a service bulletin was issued by Toyota, but I have had it in 4 times and it is still rattling over road bumps. I had to have the trunk lid adjusted, the rear bumper cover reattached, a door arm rest cover replaced as it was shipped from the factory with a chip off the fake plastic silver. The front A pillar cover had to be be reattached as it was loose causing another constant rattle. The fit and finish that i thought Japanese car makers were supposed to be famous for did not pertain to my car. Irregular gaps in dash area. The leather on the seats seems very cheap. 4 cylinder is weak.
Toyota can't be beat
This is car is far above anything in it's class. Toyota showed out with this model. It is so much better than the previous model. There is a reason Toyota is about to be the #1 car maker in the world this year, because they make cars like the Camry. Everybody else needs to sit back and watch how the best do it.
Oh What a Feeling - 2007 Camry SE
I finally got MY 2007 Toyota Camry SE with leather, tinted windows, side body mouldings, paint/rust/sound protection package and in Barcelona Red! The "sports" suspension really is a SPORTS suspension. The handling is amazing. The wider stance of the car is noticeable (I previously had a 2002 Toyota Camry LE). The steering is tight and response yet refined. The ride is firm but not bumpy, after all is it a Camry. Toyota has really done a great job on the suspension and it is the most impressive part of this car: the SE really is a SPORTS EDITION. The 4C is great! It is considerably more responsive than the previous 2002 2.4L engine that I had AND it has a great "growl"!
