Used 2007 Toyota Camry Consumer Reviews
Fanastic
My wife and I purshased a Camry 2007 LE 2.4L today and to it through rigorous testing. I'm extremely empressed. No leaks, riding 30mph and slamming on the breaks, no slush under the oil cap, transmission oil was good and clean, shocks good, no signs of CV and shock wear, then took it on the freeway and tested its power and it's really impressive. Then we took it to our mechanic and he said it's a winner. The only 3 MINOR issues is that in the future sometime the front engine mounting block will need replacing, which is a quick, easy and coat effective job to do. Then the brakes have a slight judder, but that's with all likelihood because of rust or dirt on the break disks which is also cost effective to change, and lastly sometimes theres a slight in pulling away from a stop after depressing the accelerator down (maybe only 1 second delay). I've read some reviews that camry's may have that issue. It doesn't do it all the time, and all those issues are minor for a car 13 years old. It only had 89k miles on the odometer, and was involved in 2 minor reported "accidents" previously, a side sweep and a slight dinghy from the front where the bumper was changed. One of the previous reviews on this site said that the engine just blew. That doesn't just happen. Some previous owner may have neglected services and I highly doubt it was just a manufacture fault. Toyota's are easy to maintain and cost effective. Hopefully this one will last us a long time. Will update in the future.

About to put on 4th SET of tires and only have 72,000 miles on car
I bought my camry off the showroom floor. It is a 2007 SE. Less than one year from the date of purchase I found myself back in the dealership to purchase NEW tires. The dealer gave me a "discount" and said the factory tires were "softer" therefore wearing out faster. Since then, I have put on 2 more sets of tires, ONE set per year and I in less than a month, I will have to purchase my 4th SET of tires! These tires are not cheap! I bought the camry because of the low maintenance reputation. I was wrong! Did I mention that I have had the two front bearings go out and a water pump? YES....my 2007 Camry SE is a LEMON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whats up with the tranny??
we bought the 2007 Camry for the fuel economy. I was hoping to get 32 mpg but it runs around 25-29 mpg. Anyway the biggest drawback to the car is that you can not use the cruise control in any small hill. This car will rev up to 5500 in a second and it almost drives me crazy. Oh and the brights don't turn off anymore on mine. So much for toyota.
Looks Aren't Everything.
4 cylinder gets good mpg but no pickup. Coming out of a corner and you need some pickup, forget about it. The acceleration is terrible. 5 months old already replace rotors and brakes. Toyota did not want to replace without me paying for it. I put a lot of miles on a car. Camry is 5 months old already have 20k on it. Tire noise stinks. Vibration in front end that Toyota can't find. Interior rattles. Bluetooth is awful. You can't have the a/c on or the moonroof even cracked. I had to yell just to get through a call. Car overall is terrible. Would not buy another Camry EVER!!
definitely a lemon!
Bought the car brand new, took good care of it, maintenance @ the delear ets.., thought I was getting the best value for my money, not so! after 5 years & 54k miles, the gages on my 2007 camry go haywire after I turn on the A/C and/or the radio , the ABS light, the hand break light comes on, also the RPM needle moves erratically, even the dealer cannot dignose the problem, never again will I buy another Toyota car.
