My First Car Purchase

My 2002 Toyota Camry was the first car I have ever purchased on my own. My previous auto had been selected by my former spouse and was very expensive to maintain. I chose the Camry based on its reputation for reliability and the recommendations of two family members who have both owned a Camry for more than 10 years. So far I have been pleased with my purchase. The exterior is very attractive. The interior is comfortable. Gas mileage is great. Acceleration on the highway is good and the braking ability is excellent. The cabin is also extremely quiet. I am very happy with this car and look forward to many years of quality driving.

The Best car I have ever driven. Very smooth and silent. Good family car. The new model (2002/2003) is spacious.

bought the car from a dealer. car needed the starter and fan system replaced 2 days after. car runs really hot. oil is seeping out of the engine. car has 103,000 miles on it for a Toyota this shouldn't be much. there is a known issue with camrys from 2002-2006 with the headbolts stripping off the engine block causing the engine to overheat and then blow at any givin time.and there is no support from toyota they could car less selling the car on name alone instead of quality. if i could go back in time i would tell the dealer to keep it and got into something else. purchased it for Toyota name and quality and got the worst car experience ive ever havve to deal with do not buy this car

What you'd expect from a Camry and more

Just purchased a new 2003 Camry LE, and let me tell you it lives up to its Toyota title. Upon test driving it, the acceleration and braking is very responsive. Steering and cornering are perfect at low and high speeds. The engine is great, as you cannot tell from the interior whether or not you have already ignited the engine. The interior features are just as rewarding. With the Conv. Package, gives you the added power seats, and 8 speakers sterio system. It's an excellent buy that you can count on.

Never drove a car I like more. This car drives like a dream. relieiblity, ride comfort, and safety top the list for me. Unlike the Honda that seems to drive like a sports car wantabe.
