Lived in California and drove more stop and go traffic mileage was 37 to 38 in town 40 on highway. Live in Idaho now and mileage is 40 to 41 in town and highway. Runs great, have 16000 miles on it. Have had no problems at all. Runs perfect, quiet and comfortable. Had difficult in the snow/ice in Idaho and will by studded tires for it next winter.

This car achieves its goal: great mileage for a midsize car, with decent performance and good comfort. I really like the electronics, the steering wheel mounted controls, Bluetooth, and smooth, quiet ride. I have about 40.5 mpg in just over 3000 miles of driving, mostly on the highway. Exterior styling looks great to me. Not so hot is the monotonous interior color scheme, and plasticky overall look, cheap looking port installed leather in this specimen. Some of the interior parts don’t seem to fit well.

A very impressive auto. Have driven over a week, 550 miles on one tank, 36-37 MPG, mostly highway. All the fuel saving feedback really has an effect on how you drive, which is a positive for me--I was something of a leadfoot. Leather seats are quite comfortable. Plenty of room, even with sunroof, for tall driver. Quiet on freeway, and particularly at lower speeds; it starts nearly silently. Good sound system adjusts to what road noise there is. Just as much pickup as my 2000 Accord SE 4 cyl.; no problem keeping up on highway. Bluetooth is cool; so is nav, but still learning how to use it. Really a technologically impressive vehicle for $30K. At least as cool as my relative's Lexus.

I have only had this car for a few weeks and my wife and I love it! We were on the waiting list for almost 2 months but it was worth the wait. The instant MPG feedback is great and we really like the keyless start. Now my wife doesn't have to take the key out of her pocketbook in order to start the car. The bluetooth phone system is also great. With a touch of a button we can call or answer a phone call. Our model is fully loaded so it came with the NAV. We are finding the NAV to be a little temperamental and the maps are not up to date. I was surprised it did not come with fog lights and seat position memory would have been nice. The mirrors also do not fold. Overall - we love it.

This is a blast to drive. The body style is outstanding, we added the Toyota rear spoiler, and get lots of positive comments from people. Right now we are getting combined City/Hwy 41 miles per gallon. The car drives smooth- has plenty of power. I was crusing on the Hwy yesterday at 70 mph and geting 42.5 miles per gallon. The ride and handling are outstanding. Everytime we stop someone walks up and wants to know how we like it, when we tell them we are getting 40 plus it knocks their socks off. This car makes driving fun again and economical.
