Substantial,Luxurious, and Performance
My Avalon rides like it's gliding through air. It is so smooth and quiet. Great brakes and acceleration. Very roomy, my 6'5" cousin looks like he's 5'5" back there. It's so comfortable. I highly recommend this car. We test drove a lot of cars in the $30,000 to $35,000 range and the Avalon by far ran and felt the best. That's our opinion. Go see for yourself, test drive one.
Wonderful japenese materal!
This lovely Toyota handles wonderfully, has tons of power, and takes the bumbs well, and is the most comfortable car I was ever in. I love this car. This car has tons and tons of rear leg room. Buy Toyota! This dcar gets an avrage of 24 miles to the gallon.
Great car for the price
Wonderful and very quiet to drive. Great gas milage. I get 23 mpg in the city and 29 on trips at a constant speed of 70 mph. The seat are comfortable and roomy. The truck is large and has easy access. I would recommend this car for families with young children and teenages.
Toyota XLS 2004
Very comfortable. Good performance. I bought based on size and Toyota record for reliability. If you can get past the exterior design, it's a great car.
GREAT CAR
I HAVE MY AVALON FOR 3 MONTHS NOW. THE QUIETNESS, THE OVERALL QUALITY, THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL, EVERY THING ABOUT THIS CAR IS EXCELLENT. MY PREVIOUS CAR WAS A CADILLAC ELDORADO. THAT IS WHAT I AM COMPARING IT TO. THE ONLY IMPROVEMENT THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND IS TO MAKE THE SEATS A LITTLE SOFTER. I FEEL THAT I'M SITTING ON THE SEAT RATHER THAN IN THE SEAT.
delightful inside, simple outside
Have enjoyed driving this honey of a car. It looks ordinary outside, but once you step inside it is roomy, comfortable, and elegant. I am 6'9" and fit into this one nicely. Enjoying every minute behind the wheel
Greatest Car Ever
This is the best car that I've seen on the market in years. It has a 215 horsepower engine that just blasts thru roads and highways. My friend owns a '96 prelude and he says that he will burn me in a quarter mile race. After we found a cop free zone. We started a steet race he got a 19.6 I got a 15.7 in the quarter that shut him up real bad.
Great Ride & very smooth
First Avalon & really like to drive. Exterior could be jazzed up. Interior is tough to beat for features & comfort.
A pleasure to own
I was looking for a large car for me and my family. The Avalon has a good rep for reliability (so far well deserved) and is a pleasure to ride in. While it is quick - it is not a sports car - it's more of a highway cruser of old. I have had this car for close to two years and still look forward to driving it. What a pleasure to have a car put together and so well thought out as this one. Even with the bottom package, all the stuff is included - the V-6, power windows, locks, ABS, premium sound and comfort. I looked at smaller cars with all the options added - the price is not much different. You want a large smooth comfortable car? Get the Avalon!
I love this car!
I bought this car 10-04-06. It is the finest vehicle I have ever driven. Smooth, comfy, handles easy. I had no idea a car could be this amazing. I drove from Oceanside, Ca. to Las Vegas Nv. on 1 tank of gas, over 300 miles & had gas to spare, amazing!
Roomy and reliable
We have nearly 100,000 miles on the car and it still doesn't have any problems. We really like the roomy back seat with lots of leg room in front and back. We probably will buy another Avalon if the price is right.

Toyota has a Luxery car!!
This car is great in every way, however the mpg is lacking.
Still going strong!
My 2004 Toyota Avalon has been a gem! Has 240K miles - still going strong. My auto shop rep said it rides like a Cadillac - smooth, easy drive. Has wide turning radius and a recent (belt?) screech when I turn it on. Have owned it for 10 years with minimal maintenance. Just purchase a 2010 Toyota Venza with 77K miles. I hope to get the same Toyota quality from this vehicle.

I love Avolon
Toyota is a very fun car to ride in.It is a real family or older peoples car. It is vert safe yet comfertable and reliable
Toyota Avalon-2004
Excellent quality. 3.0L engine may be a little small, but, still a good performer. In 2005, Toyota did put a 3.5L engine in the Avalon. The only real negative is the exterior design. It looks like a box coming down the road.
Need More for the Money!
The Toyota Avalon XLS is overpriced for an auto that offers the same features as other cars not in the "Toyota" line. The Avalon has no eye-catching appeal.
what gives
generally still pleased with car and performance
The Best
overall the car is sturdy it has a smooth quiet ride far as handling and performance. the fuel econoy isn't all that great but it'll do.
More leg and foot room
I am 6'1 and when I am sitting my heels are only a few inches apart. I would like to have more room at the pedals.
2004 avalon xl
Great mileage and very comfortable. Not very stylish though and considered and "old people's car" around here. I love it though.
