Used 2000 Toyota Avalon Consumer Reviews
Japanese Buick is a nice thing to say
If only the bumpers were less prone to get nicked and scratched this might be THE perfect car. In some 37,000 miles, NO waranty trips to the dealer, original brakes and tires still pass State inspection. Nicwe acceleration, smoooooth mechanicals. Up to 32mpg on a road trip, decentr mileage around town. So quiet inside you can hold conversation in normal tone of voice at 80 MPH.
Toyota Avalon
Six years old; still looks and drives like a new car. Smooth riding and no mechanical problems. Comfortable seating for all passengers and lots of trunk room. Beautifully designed and appointed on the inside and out.
Quality remains
This is the best car I ever owned. Very affordable luxury - same size as Mercedes 230 or BMW 5 series in 2000 model without pricetag. I have owned 4 Camrys and moved up to the Avalon. I stand by the Toyota name in spite of the fact that I have 3 relatives who work for a domestice auto company which allows me to purchase vehicles at below dealer invoice. The fact is that the quality I pay for in the Toyota line is more than worth the down time and repair bills I incurred from the domestic cars I bought.
2000 Avalon XLS
three years, no problems, no maintenance other than oil changes.
pearly white
With one more year left driving my 'diamond pearl white' Avalon I'm begining to consider my options for a replacement car. The only option...will be GPS navigation and this is available in current Avalon models. FYI...I must be the only owner with factory mud guards (color matched). I think they are worth the money. So far I consider my car a very good everyday vehicle for a salesman.
