4th 4 Runner for us. No problems
Our 2021 Limited 4WD has proved to be another reliable and sound 4Runner. We have owned several and all have been 5 star.

Surprised at just how much we enjoy it!
I’ve been eyeing a 4Runner for about 2 1/2 years. Finally took the leap and happy we did. I really like the boxy design, it helps a lot with minimizing blind spots. My last SUV had the worst blind spots, it was much smaller and more difficult to drive than the 4Runner. The suspension is amazing. It’s actually very spacious. The cargo area is huge! I really love everything about it. If I had a gripe it would be the fuel mileage (which is not horrible, but not great) and I wish there was a lift gate. But those things are not a big deal. We are super happy with the 2021 Toyota 4Runner. So if you’re wondering if you should get one.....do it, go.... right now...yes now!

Great Off Road, not an Explorer on the Highway.
Purchased the 2021 TRD Off-Road Premium. definitely an old school off road machine. Initially wanted a 4x4 explored but because the 21's aren't out and the 2020's are a mess we went with a vehicle I've wanted for years but have always been a bit more practical. Engine lists as being 270HP, the get up and go is great. something to do with the 3.73 rear. Seems like more power than listed . Now the good part, was 15K less than the Explorer we looked at. Happy Trail...

Not my FJ
I either upgraded or downgraded whatever way you look at it from an FJ. The 4Runner is certainly a more refined ride compared to the FJ, but my only fault with it so far are the seatbelts that never retracted properly since day 1 and my rotors that went only a year into ownership. I do not believe I was that hard on the brakes, but subjective I guess. Just keep an eye on it. Overall I’m happy with the vehicle.

What a beast!
Been a Honda guy my whole life, last SUV was a Pilot. Went to the 4Runner Limited Nightshade as 90% of my driving is on paved roads and wanted the creature comforts the Limited provides along with a version not often seen on the road, this thing stands out for sure. I LOVE my 4Runner, tons of power, ride quality is great, super reliable and one of the best resale on the planet, not that I plan to sell for at least 10 years. Long wait for delivery so get on it! Cheers
