Dangerously slow acceleration
Pros : Comfort to drive. Cons : Very dangerous when merging to freeway, because car extremely poor to accelerate. Very endangering life when need to catch the traffic speed. I have my 3 children at the back, this car always makes me worry whenever entering freeway. MPG also not as advertised supposed to be. City is 28 as advertised, but freeway hardly just to get 33.

The 2016 scion im really sucks!
The tires are as thin as paper. In less than a year of owning it I frequently have had to change all four tires back to back. The bumpers lay about an inch above the ground constantly getting stuck in snow or the bumper scraping the the ground/curb. The headlights are weak making visibility poor. Even my flashlight shines brighter and no fog lights are equipped. Acceleration is very bad especially merging onto the highway or passing other drivers. The car has no cd player so. I can't listen to all my favorite music and the horn sounds like a woman screaming "Ayyy-Ayyy". Also there not a variety of colors to choose from.

Starting issues
Recently, around 80,000 km. the car does not always start immediately. When the key is turned, the dash lights all come on and it is poised to start but the starter is not engaged. Turn it to the off position and try again and it usually starts. Sometimes, it takes 3 or 4 tries. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Otherwise, the car is great.

CVT Zaps Engines power
I bought this car brand new and I wish I would have test drove it longer than I did because the acceleration is atrocious. Sport mode helps somewhat but it still seems very sluggish I'm guessing its because of the dreadful cvt transmission. Besides the complaint about that acceleration the only other issue Ive had was replacing the interior fan blower motor at 49,000 miles. I also had to replace all 4 tires and all around brakes at 47,000 miles. I didn't like the fact that the car didn't offer a sunroof or a CD player. Gas mileage has also went down since I got it and the car has been in for every service listed in the manual. I still love the Spring green color and the sporty look the little car has and so far the paint and body hardware are holding up good.

Reliable
I got mine last 2016 and still running like new. Reliable and flashy. Love the interior design, speaker and air conditioning. My city driving everyday doesn’t cost me much on gas especially on highway. Never failed me during winter storm too. Nothing negative from my side but only wishful comments to give me more comfort. I wish they make an AWD SUV version with better suspension and larger room at the back.
