Used 2006 Saturn VUE Consumer Reviews
VUE for you
I have just purchased my VUE and so far I am very pleased with it. It is the perfect vehicle for a family with small children. The 250hp engine and the storage bin organizer located in the rear are two great features of this vehicle. OnStar is available on all GM vehicles but it optional. On the VUE it is standard. Gas mileage is great. There are a lot of accessories and packages to choose from. I test drove the Pontiac Torrent, Ford Escape and the Chevrolet Equinox. The Saturn won hands down because of its safety rating and price. Looking for a family oriented vehicle along with safety, value and affordability then the Vue is for you.
Purchased for towing behind motorhome
We purchased our 2006 Saturn VUE to tow behind our motorhome. We are very pleased with it and have not towed it yet. The styling is such that it will look good 10 years from now. It is easy to see out of with no blind spots. The Honda engine has great pickup when entering expressway. Just checked my mpg for city driving 25.5 mpg.

06 VUE FWD
Have owned it for two years now. I've done all the oil and filter changes myself so other than a few tire rotations, cost to maintain has been very low. Front end started to rumble at 24k, so I has that taken care of at the dealership under warranty, and they said it was the top strut mounts and front disc brake pins. Most of the noise is gone. Drives great, starts up everytime, lots of power, good gas mileage considering the power. I have not experienced the fit and finish problems others have had, but I don't deny they might be there. Hey, it's plastic. It good for highway trips except I wish the bottom seat cushions were bigger (longer) with more thigh support.
2006 Vue v-6
I have to say after 3 years Im a bit disappointed to see rust bubbling through the paint on the rear hatch. I'm even more disappointed that Saturn won't warrantee the rust till there is a hole that your finger will fit through (by that time 6/100000 warranty will have most likely expired). The interior fit and finish is better than years past but still a bit play schoolish. The best part of this car is the Honda powerplant -250 hp /32 mpg highway.
Best Kept Secret - VUE Best SUV imho
Was on the market looking at different cars and decide to check out some of the small to mid size SUVs. Needed roomy interior, wanted performance, style, good looking reliable American vehicle. The VUE just blew me away with the interior room, features, performance and price. After first 1500 miles still really happy with the purchase and the dealership has been great!
