Used 2003 Saturn VUE Consumer Reviews
Shoulda, woulda, coulda
I traded in a Passat on this car so I could take our large dog around more comfortably for him and us. Wow, what a mistake. After German engineering, it is hard to get used to Spring Hill plastic. POOR, POOR quality. I knew that the Saturn was inexpensive, but I assumed it to be of good craftsmanship, if not of high end materials. Was I ever wrong. I want a divorce from the Saturn family.
Where's the quality and customer service
Not nearly the experience I was hoping for. It started out as a nice car, but a string of problems including: hood deflector coming loose (three times), strange noises from the steering assembly, front struts making noises, squeaks and rattles and finally an odometer that quit working, have left me very un-impressed with Saturn. The total lack of interest from the dealership, or the corporate office about the string of problems I've had, or the impact of a defective odometer on resale value, has left me wondering where all the great customer service is that Saturn keeps bragging about.

Great Choice of a Car
I have now owned this car for a little over a year and still to this day I have no reservations about buying this car, it gets me where I need to go and with great gas milleage (which is good for a college student!!!!)
Don't believe Editors Ratings
While the interior may be bland, and the plastic knobs 'cheap' to some...I bought the car for reliablity....I LOVE IT !
The VUE Rocks
The VUE is one of the best SUVs around for price, with looks, performance and reliability. The layout of the center console is great, and both the driver and front passenger can control all the power windows and both power mirrors (If you have the power package). The design of the headlamps and grille are very unique.
