Nice Truck but Beware
I owned a RAM 1500 Express with the 3.6 engine. The motor had plenty of horse power (300) and got decent gas mileage (around 19.5 city). The truck rides very nice and is extremely comfortable. Mine was black with 20+ chrome wheels - Very sharp! Now comes the however part. My truck had just over 70k miles. I change the oil every 5000k miles and noticed I was down 2 quarts. Seems the Penstar V6 is known for oil consumption. I did read the using 5w-30 or 40 helps with this issue instead of the specified 5w-20. I decided it was time to part ways. Oil consumption eventually leads to all sort of emissions related problems. I do miss it though.

Big disappointment
Purchased a 2018 lease return. The truck only had 12k miles after four years. Never really liked RAM but the low miles sold me. Early on the engine ticked on cold start up. I brought this up to the dealer and I was told " that's normal, nothing to worry about". I find this unacceptable. Now I am stuck with a truck I really don't trust or like. I could trade it in but then I lose about 5 grand. RAM is not worth it as far as I'm concerned.
