Used 1995 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Consumer Reviews
T/A through the lenses of 2016 Mustang GT owner
I purchased my 1995 Trans Am in 2001. It got me to work and back and never let me down. After 302,000 miles I have replaced two water pumps and two clutches. Not bad for a $10,000 initial investment. The paint faded when I moved close to the ocean, then let my son drive it. It needs a complete overhaul now. Compared to the 2016 Mustang... it’s a dog. But, when I first got the T/A , their wasn’t a Mustang that could outperform her other than a Cobra. I’m sure with a new suspension and a blower the T/A could give my new GT a run for the money (in a straight line). The independent rear suspension in the Mustang outperforms the T/A in the corners. I would recommend to anyone getting a first hot rod.

Firebird
I haven't enjoyed owning my car at all. Winter driving has been absolute hell and i believe it should be illegal to drive Firebirds in the snow!!!
